When Do You Need a Peleza Bolt Background Check?

  1. You’ve applied for a certificate of good conduct but haven’t received it yet.

  2. You have a valid driving license but don’t have the physical copy to upload to the Bolt app.

How to Apply for a Peleza Bolt Background Check

The process is quick, easy, and entirely online. Just follow these steps:

  1. Open your browser (we recommend Chrome or Opera).

  2. Go to www.peleza.com/bolt.

  3. Choose either “DL Check” or “Criminal Check” depending on what you need.

  4. Fill out the form with your details.

  • Enter your information.

  • Attach a clear selfie photo.

  • Attach a clear good conduct document/application receipt.

  • Make your MPESA payment using the following details:

    • Paybill: 673496

    • Account Number: Your ID number

    • Cost: KES 250 for DL Check, KES 650 for Criminal Check

After submitting the form and payment, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Keep an eye on your inbox.

When to Expect Your Results

  • DL Check: Delivered to your email within 12 hours (weekdays only).

  • Criminal Check: Delivered within 24 hours (weekdays only).

Once you receive the report, download the PDF and upload it directly to your Bolt driver app.

Note: The background check is valid for one year from the report date.
