Our Story

Peleza’s journey began in 2016 with a vision to transform how African businesses establish trust. Founded in Nairobi, Kenya, we saw the challenges organizations faced due to fraud, bad hires, and regulatory risks. Traditional background checks were slow, manual, and fragmented across different agencies. Compliance processes were cumbersome, leading to user drop-off and legal exposure. We set out to change that.

Fast forward to today: Peleza is the verification backbone for companies across Africa.
